We are looking for a Python Engineer for a project from the USA.

The product is a specialized AI platform for insurance companies.

The main goal is to automate key business processes and make team workflows more efficient. The platform’s functionality includes processing and analyzing insurance data, integrating AI agents into workflows, automating decision-making, and enhancing search and contextual analysis using LLMs and RAG. AI agents can reduce data and claim processing time by up to 70%.

A key feature of the platform is its private cloud infrastructure, which ensures full control and secure storage of each company’s data.

The company has been on the market since 2024 and has raised $3 million in funding.

This is a new client for us. On our side, we plan to expand the team with Python Engineers and Data Scientists.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Python development
• FastAPI
• Django

• SQL & NoSQL Databases
• English Upper-Intermediate and higher

Nice to have:

• Elasticsearch
• Experience with AI/ML integrations
• Experience with data in the insurance or financial domain

Responsibilities:

• Develop new features for the AI platform and maintain existing ones using Python
• Be responsible for architectural decisions regarding data processing, integrations with external APIs and single-tenant deployments
• Implement chatbots, underwriting logic and other AI functionalities
• Optimize systems for fast data access, high throughput and secure data storage
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure
• Collaborate with the team, working closely with product managers, engineers and data scientists to ensure data protection and encryption
• Mentor junior developers
