Senior Full-Stack (Python+React) Engineer for a voice AI assistant

We are looking for a Full-Stack (Python+React) Engineer for a project from Israel.
Product – a voice AI assistant for automating order-taking in quick-service restaurants.

The service processes customer voice requests in real time and is already used by a network of restaurants in the USA. Thanks to centralized management, restaurants can configure voice, menus, promotions, and customer interaction scenarios. The solution reduces staff workload and optimizes processes.

The company has been on the market since 2019 and has raised around $15 million in funding.
This is a new client for us, and there are plans to expand the team on our side with Python and Full-Stack (Python + React) engineers.

Interview stages:

  • Recruitment interview (15–20 minutes)
  • Internal technical interview (≈60 minutes)

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Python experience
  • 3+ years of React experience
  • Async IO
  • Redux (RTK)
  • CSS Modules
  • CI/CD
  • AWS / GCP / Azure

  • 3rd Party API integrations
  • Data Pipelines, ETL
  • Experience working with startups
  • English: Upper-Intermediate or higher

Nice to have:

  • 1+ year of experience as Team Lead / Tech Lead
  • Knowledge of concurrency principles

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new features and maintain existing ones using Python and React
  • Integrate new POS systems and digital menu boards
  • Build and maintain data pipelines for restaurant menu processing
  • Create and update integration documentation
  • Support and enhance existing integrations and pipelines
  • Estimate, plan, and execute integration projects
  • Collaborate with the team
